RECALCULATION OF DEVIATIONS FROM THE EXCHANGE RATE

When you deviate from your route, you can deliberately stop the course guidance and off-course notifications. When you want to return to your route, Edge Explore 2 will show you the way.

CLIMBPRO FUNCTION

Automatically see the remaining ascent and grade as you climb, following a route or course. This helps you estimate your energy consumption and how long it will take to reach the top. You can even save your results to review on your device or in Garmin Connect after your ride.

EBIKE COMMUNITY

If you have an eBike that is compatible with Shimano Steps or ANT+® technology, you can view a dedicated eBike status screen that displays data fields including battery life and other information. Get smart routing and range alerts based on battery status, assistance level and planned route.

SAFETY

Pair the Edge Explore 2 GPS bike computer with Varia’s rear-view radar and headlights so you can see and be seen.

ACCIDENT DETECTION

This Edge device automatically sends a message with your location information to pre-marked emergency contacts if it detects an ^accident1.

BICYCLE ALARM

A PIN-protected bike alarm will alert you by sending a message to your connected smartphone if your bike is moved while you are in the shop buying water, snacks or just relaxing.

COMPATIBILITY WITH SMART TRAINER

Pair the Edge® Explore 2 with a Tacx® indoor trainer so you can work out when and where you want.

AUTOMATIC SETTING

Be ready to go in no time, without having to spend a lot of time configuring settings. Get pre-customised driving profiles based on your driving style and selected sensors. You can directly manage your ride profiles using your device or a compatible smartphone.

GROUPTRACK FUNCTION

Pair up with your smartphone and follow the other riders in the group, even when they’re not in your view, and let them follow you. GroupTrack is available to riders using compatible Garmin devices and can follow up to 50 of your friends at the same time. Just glance at the screen for updates.

INTRA-GROUP MESSAGING

Pair up with your smartphone and stay in touch with your team of riders when you’re separated from the group. Group messaging is available to riders using compatible Garmin devices, and messages can only be sent to riders with these devices.

SMART MESSAGES

Receive text messages and alerts directly on your Edge device when paired with a compatible smartphone.
