MAXIMUM AWARENESS

The Varia™ RTL515 rear-view radar provides visual and audible warnings for vehicles approaching from behind up to 140 metres away.

MULTIPLE PAIRING OPTIONS

This radar works seamlessly with your bike’s Edge computer or compatible smartphone, as well as with individual Garmin wearables or the optional radar display device.

WORKS WITH THE VARIA APP

This smartphone app helps you be aware of your surroundings by providing a graphical image, as well as sound and vibration alerts that indicate the position and speed of approaching cars.

COMPATIBILITY OF THIRD-PARTY APPS

When used with a compatible smartphone, Varia Radar integrates with your favourite apps like Ride with GPS to overlay your maps with rear-view radar alerts.

EXCELLENT VISIBILITY

In normal visibility, warn motorists of your presence as soon as possible within 1 mile.

COMPACT DESIGN

This convenient, compact device is easy to install on the seat post of almost every road-worthy bicycle. The vertical design provides better leg clearance and a very comfortable ride.

PELOTON MODE

The Varia™ RTL515 features several modes, including a peloton mode that provides low-intensity flashes that are beneficial to the eyes of other cyclists when riding in a group.

BATTERY LIFE

Time spent charging is not as good as time spent driving. Get 16 hours of battery charging time in day flash mode and up to 6 hours in continuous burn mode.
